Annual Report

We are pleased to present you with the Annual Education Report (AER) which provides key information on the 2010-2011 educational progress for Morey Public School Academy. The AER addresses the complex reporting information required by federal and state laws. The school’s report contains information about student assessment, Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP) and teacher quality. If you have any questions about the AER, please contact Brad Henry, Principal, for assistance.

The AER is available for you to review electronically by clicking here or you may request a copy from our school office. State law requires that we also report additional information that is found in this document in the subsequent pages.

For 2010-2011, Morey Public School Academy made Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP) in English language arts and mathematics. While we are pleased to have reached this important goal, we are continuously working to improve. We appreciate the continued support of parents, staff and our community in this effort. Morey PSA is a good school and on our way to becoming a great school. Morey’s staff is highly qualified and Montessori trained for hands on learning and traditional moral values are encouraged through character education.

    Paige, 1-3 year

Paige has attended Morey Public School for 4 years starting in preschool, and is currently a 3rd year student.

Paige comes to school with a smile on her face, and a ready-to-learn attitude. Her positive demeanor shines through in everything she does. Paige quickly places other's concerns above her own. Her peers enjoy working with her in small groups, as she is a good listener and active participant. Paige will look for ways to extend her learning when classroom work has been accomplished.

Paige enjoys playing with her rabbits and having fun with her friends in Girl Scouts. Paige's positive attitude, enthusiasm, and kindness will help her to be successful in whatever she chooses to do!
