Principal Updates

Dear Morey Parent,

Below are some updates for you on what is going on in the Morey community

The Innisbrook fundraiser is complete and the school met its goal of 3,000 dollars and exceeded that by 200.00 dollars for a total of 3,200 dollars. The dollars are deposited into the PTO fund and used for field trips.
Elementary basketball program has concluded and I wanted to give a big thank you to Marcy and Kim Wierenga, Bruce Hadd, and Whisper Miller for volunteering their time as coaches.
Science night occurred on November 16^th. The event was put on by our Montessori 4-6 teacher Bruce Hadd and The National Science Teachers Association through CMU. The event took place here at Morey. An estimated 15 families were in attendance.
Trooper White from the State Police Mt. Pleasant branch did a lesson with the kindergarten class on safety. The lesson occurred on November 21^st.

This school year has gotten off to a great start! I'll leave more updates here for you soon.

Student Spotlight

Chyenne (1-3 Year)

Chyenne is reserved, but full of personality in her own quiet way. She is a very loyal friend to have. I enjoy watching her help those that are younger than her. She sets a good example for those to follow. Chyenne cares and that's what I enjoy so much about her.
