Art & Physical Ed Program

At Morey Public School Academy, art and physical education programs are currently being taught by classroom teachers.

Physical Education

All teachers have been trained in the Exemplary Physical Education Curriculum (EPEC). This curriculum promotes the teaching of knowledge, skills and attitudes that will enable children to be active for life, and provides step-by-step instruction enabling students to be successful in the physical education. EPEC is built around National Association of Sport and Physical Education (NASPE) standards, and is currently being used by thousands of teachers across the country, to strengthen physical education, and its reputation, in their communities.For more information on the EPEC program, please click here.

Art

Classroom teachers currently teach art to children at Morey Public School Academy. Along with classroom art lessons, Morey works closely with Art Reach of Mid Michigan to promote a love of the arts in all of our students.

Student Spotlight

Chyenne (1-3 Year)

Chyenne is reserved, but full of personality in her own quiet way. She is a very loyal friend to have. I enjoy watching her help those that are younger than her. She sets a good example for those to follow. Chyenne cares and that's what I enjoy so much about her.
