Dear Mr. Henry

I just wanted to let you know what a breath of fresh air Morey has been for my family. I have wanted to email you for a long time, but could never find words meaningful enough to adequately describe how I feel. There are just not enough words to express my gratitude and love for Morey. As you read this, just keep in mind that these simple words are only a small measure of how I truly feel.

Coming to Morey has not been an easy financial decision. We live in Carson City, which is about 30 miles away. We are so glad that we decided to try Morey. We love everything about it. It not only feels like a school, but also like an extension of home. We especially love Montessori! What a great way to learn. It seems like such a natural, healthy and organic way to learn, not to mention FUN! I love the fact that it's not just mental learning, but also involves a hands on and visual approach to learning.

Since coming to this school, I have watched my kids grow and change. My oldest son Cameron was struggling in school, had at least three hours of homework every night, and often times, stayed after school just to finish his days' work. He hated school, was depressed about going and wanted to be home schooled. He is now happy to go to school everyday, his grades are significantly better and he expresses more confidence. He is proud to tell his friends that he is going to Morey.

Our two younger boys love school too. We thought Keegan would have a hard time in school. With aspergers, he usually has trouble getting along socially and has some sensory processing issues too (among other things), but despite these challenges he is thriving in school and is blossoming into a confident child.  We believe in Morey. We believe in Montessori. We have seen the results.

From what I have heard, there have been some parents who were concerned about their child being in a classroom with children of different grades and age groups. I actually like this, and think it is beneficial and healthy for kids to learn how to interact with different age groups other than their own. This will benefit them throughout their lives as they enter college and start careers. Not everyone they come in contact with in life will be their same age. I think it is important to learn how to get along with everyone, starting at an early age. This is how it was when I went to school. In the smaller school that I went to, there were 3 to 4 different grades to a classroom. We all worked together, played together, helped each other and were all friends. To this day, a lot of my greatest friends are the same people that I went to school with.  It was a very positive experience for me.

Morey has been the best decision for my family. A good quality education is the foundation for the rest of their lives. As long as Morey is here, we will be supporters.
